Season 5
88. Say Goodbye to Daisy Miller

The flowers Lorelai had looked different from the ones Luke originally brought.

In the last episode, Luke and Lorelai both turned to look at Kirk as soon as they heard him screaming, and before he was even in view. He couldn't have seen them kiss.

When sorting out the issue with Taylor's chewed shoes, and Lorelai realizes that Michel's Chows are at the inn, he refers to Pau-Pau as a "he." However, in episode 319 when Michel first gets the chows, he refered to Pau-Pau as "she."

90. Written in the Stars

When Taylor tells the story of Faye and Art, he says that Faye owned the flower shop and Art the candy store. But Babette concludes the story with "Faye never married, she stopped making candy...it was very sad."

Dean's parents's house had a single front door in this episode, but had a double front door in "A Messenger, Nothing More", the episode which immediately preceded this one.

Luke says that he's known Maisy and Buddy his whole life and Buddy showed him the ropes of running a business. But in season 2's The Ins and Outs of Inns, Luke and Lorelai talk business and he says that he just jumped into it, having none there to show him what to do.

91. Tippecanoe and Taylor, Too

Jackson's last name has been "Melville" since the beginning of the show. However, in this episode, he introduces himself to a prospective voter as "Jackson Belleville", which is also the name that appears on the banner above the stage.

94. You Jump, I Jump, Jack

The guy that built the tower Rory and Logan jumps from is either a really good ladder climber, or there might be a small goof there. First he is on the ground, then Rory and Logan climbs the ladder, only to find him already on top of the tower. Finally, when they jump, he is on the ground again.

In this episode Rory says she's never lived with a man and Lorelai says neither has she..she must have forgotten the first 17 years of her life when she lived with her Dad - Blooper by Falynn

95. The Party's Over

When Emily asks Rory if she has ever worn a tiara and Rory replies "when I was four", she must have forgotten that she wore one on her sixteenth birthday in "Rory's Birthday Parties".

Lorelai keeps trying to call Emily so she can yell at them about trying to fix Rory up with their friends' sons. The maid speaks Spanish, and Lorelai can't understand what she's saying. In the Pilot episode, she was speaking to one of Sookie's assistants at the inn in perfect Spanish - Blooper by Christine

96. Emily Says Hello

As Lorelai and Rory are leaving Emily's house, an inch of a camera lens is visible in the top left corner.

When Lorelai is having her drink with Emily at Emily's house,we see "Lauren's" bra and then the camera shows Emily and soon enough it's covered up - Blooper by Sarah

97. But Not As Cute As A Pushkin

Rory tells anna that she never dated a guy from yale before. Thats not true! She went on one date with a guy from one of her classes, Trevor in "The Fundamental Things Apply" - Blooper by Sarah

98. Women Of Questionable Morals

It is supposenly the first snowfall and as the town re-enacts the war, everyone is standing outside in the cold yet you cannot see anyone's "breath" which you obviously would since it is suppose to be so cold outside..

99. Come Home

Luke says that the reason he bought a TV for the bedroom was so that Lorelai didn't have to go to bed at 9:30. When she switches on the TV you can hear Jon Stewart in the background, but The Daily Show with Jon Stewart isn't on until 11.

When Lorelai is talking to luke about how to fix the oven, the 'lukes' label on her coffee keeps moving.

When Lane is talking to Zack, two sauce bottles (red and yellow) appear on the middle table.

When Richard hits Emily's car, you can see him walk from off screen towards her car, rather than coming from the door of his own car.

101.Say Something

When Rory first gets home to comfort Lorelai and goes and lays on the bed with her, Rory's hair is down on both sides of her face, but when the shot switches to Lorelai, and back to Rory, the left side of her hair is brushed behind her shoulder, without her having moved her hand to brush it this way.

Paris makes a grammar mistake when she tells Rory "We're better than this, you and me" (it should be you and I). You would think an excellent student like Paris who is also a journalist would know proper grammar.

In the three different scenes in Logan's dormroom a pair of ski's move around the room. In the first scene where Rory comes in and sits down next to logan the ski's are right beside the doorframe, on the left. When she wakes up the next morning the ski's are in the corner on the left of the couch she was sleeping on. Later on when she visits Logan to "return" Frank the ski's have moved again, now about a foot to the left, next to a cabinet.....

In the scene where Rory and Logan discuss the "hanging out" matter Logan is shot from the back. Somewhere in the discussion all of a sudden the label of his sweater is visible. Later on it isn't.

During the scene with Rory and Paris talking to Janet and Anthea in the cafetaria, the position of both Rory's and Paris' milk carton and the green menu thingy change.

In the scene where rory enters Logan's room whe see the cardtable. Next to Robert there is one drink. When the shot cuts over to look over Rory's shoulder, suddenly there are two glasses.

When Rory and Paris are having breakfast in the dining hall, there are two dirty plates sitting beside them when they first sit down. When the other girls come to the table to give them advice, the plates are gone.

Iin the episode "In the clamor and the clangor" When Ms. Kim asks Lane when she started listening to rock music she said after Ms. Kim banned Cookie Monster when she was six. In this episode when Lane and Rory are talking about which things in Lane's house hold stuck Lane said she started listining to rock music when she was seven - Blooper by Falynn

In the episode We Got Us Pippie Virgin "big red" is big enough to hold Dean, Rory, Lorelai, and Luke, but in this episode it is only big enough to hold Luke and Lorelai - Blooper by Falynn

102. Jews and Chinese Food

When Sookie pulls into Lorelai's driveway, her van has a New York license plate. Stars Hollow is supposedly in Connecticut.

I think there's a continuity error it this week's episode. When Rory and Lorelai are in the Yale cafeteria they toast to their very own special Friday night dinner. So you'd think it would be Friday, right? The next scene is in the newsroom where Rory storms out to talk to Marty to invite him over for Marx Brothers' movies. She asks him to come over on Saturday. Wouldn't that be that very day? So why would she say Saturday and not today or tonight?

When Lorelai talks with Sookie in The Dragonfly's kitchen we can clearly see through the windows that it is light out. Then she leaves and goes home to dye the beards, and by the time she arrives at her house it is already dark.

In the China Palace scene where Finn tells Colin that all of his mothers were hot, you can see the sleeve of Rosemary's shirt on his right hand side. Rosemary however, is sittin on his left hand side throughout the rest of the scene.

103. So... Good Talk

When Lane and Rory are talking about how Lane responded to Zack wanting to have sex Lane mentions that both Jessica Simpson and Tori Spelling's character Donna Martin on Beverly Hills 90210 waited until they were married to have sex. Donna actually lost her virginity to David on the night of their college graduation, not their wedding night.

Why does Lane offer Kirk ketchup when she thinks that his "food" is a pancake. She should have offered him syrup.

In this episode when Emily is in Lukes Diner Luke asks Kirk if he wants coffee. Kirk says no because coffee hurts his lungs, but in Dead Uncles and Vegtables Kirk is yelling at Luke when its taking a long time to get his coffee. This shows that Kirk can clearly drink coffee - Blooper by Falynn

When Lorelai is on the phone to her dad and standing in front of the Stars Hollow sign, two people walk behind her twice (a woman in a denim jacket and a man in beige pants).

When Lane offers Kirk some ketchup for his meat/pancake she leaves the bottle on his table. but when only a few moments later kirk asks for a napkin, the bottle has magically disappeared.

When Lorelai is standing next to the boat after getting rid of the traffic enforcement lady, you can see luke walking to a table (to take an order) - but there is no person at the table. however, when it cuts to luke inside the diner- he seems to be taking an order from a man who suddenly appears. If the man was there the whole time, you should have been able to see the back of his head through the window.

When Lorelai and Rory are talking about rorys night with the grandparents, A guy in a green jumper takes a slow sip of his coffee. It then quickly jumps to the next frame- but the guy is no longer taking a sip (he must have been very quick to put the mug down)

when Rory and Lane are talking in the book shop, (whenever it cuts to Lane talking) through the door you can see a man and a woman in Pink boots walk up to the magazine stand 4 times.

when Lorelai and Rory in the kitchen just after rory arrived home with all of her laundry, there is a green piece of paper on a magnetic clip on the fridge. at first the piece of paper is down, next frame it has been flipped up.

104. Pulp Friction

When Lorelai is eating the fries, a portion of the fries on the plate is gone, next the plate is full again, then its not.

when luke gets the spoons from the drawer for the ice cream, he leaves the drawer open. a few moments later, the drawer is closed. who closed it?

In the first scene when luke is talking to kirk about the ribbon collection- there is a wide-brimmed straw hat and a bag(with a red hat on it) on the hat stand. however when lorelai enters and sits down- there is no straw hat and no bag there- but rather a brown grandpa's hat.

When lorelai is at the dragonfly (just after Michel arriving back from California) and says that she is just going to run over to lukes and that she will be back to finish the setup- you can clearly see that it is light out. However when she arrives at lukes it is night time.

104. To Live and Let Diorama

In one of the earlier episodes it says that Stars Hollow was founded by two lovers who got lost as they ran away from home, in this episode it claims that a Puritan family settled and founded Stars Hollow. A contradictory statement.

RE to above: as most things in the museum are sketching or not even close to factually correct, as pointed out by Luke, it is possible the founding story is another of these. This is also highly possible due to the museums take on modern life.

neither this episode nor any previous episode has explained why Taylor has the selectsmen position instead of Jackson who won the position earlier in the season.

In the completed diorama, there is an American flag displayed vertically with the union (blue field with stars) on the right side to the viewer. The union should be on the viewer's left, which is the flag's right.

Rory leaves to go to her mothers house before Paris, however, when Rory arrives Paris is already there.

106. But I'm A Gilmore

Back in 'The Lorelai's First Day at Yale' Paris claims that she started working with her life coach, Terrence because she 'lost her Nanny over the summer.' She does mention that she didn't die, but she left to open up some sort of a store. But in this episode, Nanny is back and ready to serve Paris now that Doyle is sick!

When Rory walks out of the kitchen when everybody has breakfast, she has her pink shirk twisted around her waist. senconds later in the living room, she wears it - there's been hardly any time to put in on (considering the state she's in)

In here Lorelai gives them all tacos for their hangovers but in Girls in Bikinis, Boys Doin' the Twist Lorelai says to drink alot of water and take an asprin if she gets drunk - Blooper by Falynn

In this episode lorelai gives them tacos for their hangovers but then in the episode where she has a hangover when she was up all night with christopher she says pancakes are hangover food - Blooper by Chris

When Lorelai gives them all Taco's, Rory goes "hangover food" but in 'Girls in bikines, Boys doin the twist.' Rory says her hangover food is Mac n Cheese - Blooper by Maddie

107. How Many Kropogs To Cape Cod?

When Loreli takes the sewing box back from Logan, he takes it out of the pocket opposite the one he put it in.

Rory did have an ID witha photo before. In her first year at Yale she had a student ID. See Episode 402 The Lorelai's first day at Yale.

108. Blame Booze and Melville

In the Limo Luke says he hasn't been drunk for years, but he was just drunk last season in Nag Hammadi Is Where They Found the Gnostic Gospels. -Blooper found by Marissa and Sam

Luke was also drunk in "You Jump, I Jump, Jack" when he called Lorelai from the driving range he was drunk. As he said "And I'm tipsy -- we hit the club bar, and I didn't want to sound dumb and just order a beer, because it's nitwit juice, so I had what your dad was having, which was whiskey something -- more whiskey than something, let me tell you, 'cause I can't even see straight" - Blooper Found by Ashlez
