Luke and Lorelai are back together. The song played in the background while Zack and Lane discuss whether to have sex or not is "You can't hurry love" by The Concretes. Lorelai is watching the movie 'A Star is Born' when Luke comes to the door at the end of the episode. Judy Garland is singing "The Man That Got Away" (Luke!) as she gets up to answer the door. They did a good job of making Luke look miserable. He was scruffier than usual, and it looked like he had bags under his eyes, and his hair was all unruly, and longer than normal. They highlighted how miserable he is without Lorelai well, not just as his girlfriend, but as his friend, just her presence brightens his days, and with her going to Weston's, it hit Luke hard.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

105. To Live and Let Diorama

For some unknown reason, Luke is very eager to help turn the Twickham house into a museum. Rory, Lane, and Paris are unhappy with the men in their lives and share their troubles, and too much booze. Lorelai gets interviewed for an article about the Inn.

b: 19-Apr-2005 d: Jackson Douglas

NOTE: Kelly Bishop does not appear in this Episode Edward Herrmann does not appear in this Episode. Luke starts to plan for his and Lorelai's life. Which is just another additon to the plenty of parts that shows that Luke has waited for this for a while. And he's really enjoying it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

105. But I'm A Gilmore
gs: Carole King (Sophie Bloom) Audrey Wasilewski (Sandra)

Rory tells Logan she's a girlfriend girl, and Logan says he's ready to commit. Rory goes to dinner at Logan's house and his family says unkind things about Rory, to her face. Sookie is put on bed rest and Luke fills in as the chef at the Inn.

A Kropog is a unit of distance, named after a man who graduated from yale in 1944. Logan's dorm is 90 Kropogs from Rory's.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

108. Blame Booze and Melville
gs: Gregg Hengy (Mitchum Huntzberger)

Sookie is surprised when she goes into labor early. Emily is upset when she reads the artice about the Dragonfly. Rory gets very upset about the talk Mitchum has with her. Luke has competion buying the Twickham house.

b:03-May-2005 pc: 106 w: Bill Prady and Rebecca Rand Kirshnerd:Jamie Babbit

NOTE: There is a reference to Star Wars in here. When Luke and Kirk are in the steam room talking to the elders, one of the old guys (wearing a towel over his head, giving you the impression he is wearing a cloak or robe) waves his hand like Qui-Gon Jinn did in Episode I when talking to Watto. He says a long speech about how Luke has waited 9 years for Lorelei and how he should have the house. He ends by waving his hand again. Another one of the elster's then immediately agrees, saying, "Yes, I think Luke should get the house." The almost exact thing the Jedi-dude said before waving his hand again! The song playing in the limousine while Lorelai and Luke are on their way home from Manhattan is "Oblivious" by Aztec Camera. I'm pretty sure that the title means... Blame Booze - obviously for the pregnancy scare and Melville - Rory says that she wants to go to the sea because of what it says in Moby Dick. How does it make any sense to blame Jackson for having a child? They wanted the child. Blaming Herman Melville makes sense... as if the reason she stole the boat was because of him.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

109. A House Is Not A Home
After Rory and Logan steal a yacht, Lorelai has to pick Rory up at the police station. Rory tells Logan about the talk his father had with her.. Rory decides to take time off from Yale, and Lorelai is stunned. Lorelai goes to Richard and Emily for help, but they stab her in the back. Lorelai asks Luke a life changing question.

b: 17-May-2005 w:Amy Sherman Pallidino d:Amy Sherman Pallidino

NOTE: The last episode before this one is actually not the season finale. This is the season finale! Rory was thrown in jail because of stealing a yacht. Grant Lee Phillips sings a chorus of the Merle Haggard song "Mama Tried." Lorelai proposes to Luke at the end of the episode. Before he has a chance to answer, the season ends, leaving us with a cliff-hanger as to what will happen next season. The song heard at the end when Lorelai is watching Rory through the window is "I Think It's Going To Rain Today" by Claudine Longet.
